Meme: Please Respond

All other arguments aside, this thinking scares me:

Equating "raising kids" with learning how to shoot assault weapons? I'm not saying that not teaching your kid how to shoot is the best way to raise them, but this is terrifying, but I can't quite put my finger on why.

What are your thoughts?

      "I'm not saying that not teaching your kid how to shoot is the best way to raise them..." I'll bet that guns can be an integral part of an upbringing that is healthy and produces conscientious adults. However, teaching how to shoot assault weapons is NOT equivalent to being a good parent.
